Rohan Sanghai

Hello, thank you for stopping by!

I am Rohan, a Mechanical Engineering student specializing in Advanced Manufacturing and Design Graduate Student at MIT in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

After receiving my undergraduate degree from Maharashtra Institute of Technology (coincidentally also abbreviated as MIT), I worked at the Inter-University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics on the upcoming LIGO-India Project. This is where I developed a passion for precision design and manufacturing.

Currently, I am a part of the Device Realization Lab under Dr. Brian Anthony, where I work on developing education modules to democratize engineering education at an affordable cost. Apart from my academics, I enjoy modeling accurately scaled models of cities and 3D printing them, going around Boston photographing landscapes and I also enjoy learning about astronomy and philosophy.
