Overview

Successfully designed and integrated a complex system including two telescopes, a computer-controlled mount, and a dome to enable astronomical research for over 2000 undergraduate engineering students.

Development Process

Final Result

The completed observatory features a fully automated dome control system, integrated telescope mount, and seismic isolation structures. The system achieves sub-arcsecond pointing accuracy and enables both visual and astrophotography observations.
